Saffadi: All possible scenarios available to settle expenditure issue

Finance Minister Mohammad Saffadi confirmed on Saturday that the ministry of finance has drawn up all possible scenarios to address the expenditure issue, adding that these draft laws are in the hands of the parliament, cabinet and president.

During his reception of syndical delegations along with representatives of local organizations in Tripoli, Saffadi called for keeping the people’s interests away from political polarization and approving a legal formula that would legalize the public expenditure and authorize the state to fulfill its obligations.

Meanwhile, Saffadi’s media office refuted statements put forth by Tourism Minister Fadi Abboud who earlier stated that the minister of finance is wavering over the submission of the draft budget to cabinet.
