Construction workers stage sit-in in Baalbek
Construction workers, contractors and self-employed people staged a sit-in in the region of Baalbek-Hermel, outside the Serail, to protest against failure to obtain construction permits by the municipalities and against the competition posed by the Syrian workforce.
 
The protesters said that the presence of the Syrian refugees is the main issue, noting that the Syrian workers seized their jobs and interests. They urged President Michel Aoun to interfere.
