Rai meets Lebanese expats during his US visit

Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai met with Lebanese expats as part of his visit to the U.S.

Three women, Virginia and Loraine Jably as well as Rita Salim Stewart, came to Saint Louis specifically to meet with Rai given the blood relation they share with him since they family roots trace back to the Lebanese town of Hamlaya.

According to Rai, reconnecting the Lebanese expats to their homeland reflects a mission and important duty for everyone seeking to preserve the distinctive nature of the Lebanese community and its balanced position in the Middle East.
