Aoun files lawsuit against Geagea over recent assassinations

The FPM media office announced on Saturday that, after the statements put forth on May 16 by Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea to the Central News Agency in which he placed on Aoun the moral responsibility for all political assassinations and assassination attempts that have occurred since 2005; and after the statements Aoun was quoted as saying on martyrs, the FPM leader has filed a lawsuit with the Prosecutors Office at the Court of Cassation against Samir Geagea, the Central News Agency, the LF website and al-Mustaqbal daily on charges of committing crimes provided for by the provisions of the Lebanese Sanctions Act.
