Aridi: I vow to remain apolitical and serve all Lebanese

Minister of Public Works and Transportation Ghazi Aridi said Saturday that his ministry is ready to serve all Lebanese citizens regardless of their political/ideological affiliations, adding that he would remain detached from any domestic-related snags.

Addressing municipal interlocutors at the northern-Metn village of Beskinta, Aridi informed members of the local municipal Council and others that business at his ministry proceeds as usual regardless of prevailing unfavorable political circumstances. He vowed to remain apolitical in approach with all relevant agendas being carefully studied and addressed. The minister reassured Beskinta interlocutors that they will have all of their demands met in due course with priorities given utmost attention as he said.

Aridi's listed priority would be having the annual 2012 budget speedily passed or endorsed by the government within a very short notice.
