Citizen succumbs to wounds after being shot by son

A Lebanese citizen identified as Mohammad Chahine succumbed to his wounds on Saturday in south Lebanon after reportedly being shot by his own son Ahmad one day prior.

Mohammad, a resident of Bablieh, near the southern city of Sidon, was transported on Friday to the Labib Medical Center for treatment after his son Ahmad reportedly shot him and his younger brother Rami, who died immediately.

Mohammad and Rami Chahine will be laid to rest in their hometown on Saturday afternoon.
