G7 to discuss more sanctions against Syrian and Russian individuals - UK foreign minister

Britain will discuss the possibility of further sanctions against senior Syrian and Russian military figures at a meeting of G7 foreign ministers in Italy, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said on Monday.

"We will be discussing the possibility of further sanctions certainly on some of the Syrian military figures and indeed on some of the Russian military figures who have been involved in coordinating the Syrian military efforts," he said in a television clip shown on Britain's Sky News.
