Kataeb party Chief Samy Gemayel stressed Tuesday that the electricity plan that he tackled during the parliament session had been distributed to the ministers a few days before the cabinet session and was added as it is in the agenda.
During a press conference, Gemayel held the cabinet responsible of the current situation, noting that the “government of the elections has not yet achieved anything that brings the country closer to the parliamentary elections.”
Addressing the political forces taking part in the government he said: “We sense as if you are fooling us, you have not agreed over anything other than quotas and serving your personal interests.”
Commenting on the extension of the parliament’s term, Gemayel said that there is no justification for any possible extension. “Are we in a state of war? Then is the constitution always violated?”
