FPM delegation visits Patriarch Rai
Change and Reform bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan said on Wednesday that the extension of the parliament’s mandate violates the will of the Lebanese people.

Kanaan’s comments were made following a meeting with Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai in Bkerke.

“Not approving a new vote law does not justify the extension,” Kanaan said heading a Free Patriotic Movement delegation.

“We will face the extension,” he added.

This as sources told LBCI that Patriarch Rai received a phone call from Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea whereby the extension of the parliament’s mandate main the main focus of the call.
