REPORT: Expired food items found inside a Pizza Hut warehouse

Ministry of Health’s inspectors raided on Tuesday one of Pizza Hut’s warehouses in Jounieh and found expired food items.

More than two tonnes of food ingredients such as spices, ketchup, butter, yeast and olives were found expired since 2012.

The Pizza Hut’s administration first denied, but eventually confessed the presence of such a warehouse during the raid.

The warehouse was sealed pending further investigations.
