The ministers of the Lebanese Forces and Minister Michel Faraon held a press conference on Tuesday, during which deputy PM Ghassan Hasbani said that the difference in points of view with the Free Patriotic Movement over the electricity plan does not spoil good relations, adding that they will take the necessary measures within the cabinet to put things on track in order to preserve public funds and to establish the rule of law.
Commenting on the issue of electricity, the LAF ministers stressed that they are committed to respecting the decisions of the government regarding all items included in the electricity plan, mainly regarding the rules and procedures.
In this context, Hasbani emphasized the need to widen the span of choices in the rules of procedures in order to ensure better solutions in terms of cost and speed in implementation, transparency and environmental priorities.
