In a televised speech he delivered on the commemoration of the assassination of Mustafa Badreddine, Nasrallah addressed the Lebanese people saying: “Live your life normally because the Israeli threats are nothing new and the enemy is waging a psychological war.”
Pointing out that the Lebanese eastern borders with Syria have become very safe, Hezbollah chief stated that the party had dismantled all its military positions along said border, and this area was now the "responsibility of the state", with no need for the group's presence.
On the local scene, Nasrallah said that there is true hope that a new electoral law will be reached soon, noting that political escalation only complicates the matters.
On the Syrian situation, he stressed that Hezbollah will approve of any ceasefire approved by the Syrian government, reiterating that the party went to Syria to help the regime and the people fight terrorist organizations.
