[PHOTO] ISF arrests 2 people for attempting to smuggle religious artifacts

The Internal Security Forces issued a statement in which it declared the arrest of two men for smuggling religious artifacts from Syria into Lebanon.

The two men were identified as Lebanese Q.M. (31 years old) and Syrian M.Sh. (22 years old) who were arrested in the northern town of Chekka on Sunday.

The ISF seized an "old bible replica" and an old currency coin, which the two were attempting to sell for $100,000.

Investigations are currently ongoing to reveal more details in this regard.

Also, the ISF arrested a Lebanese national identified only by his initials as N.A. (31 years old) for drug dealing and possession.

1,230 captagon pills and his vehicle were seized during the arrest.
