On Wednesday May 31, 2017, the fuel prices in Lebanon register new increase as the price gasoline 95 octane increased 100 LBP, while that of gasoline 95 octane remained unchanged. The price of diesel oil increased 100 LBP and that fuel oil 200 LBP.
The table issued by Ministry of Energy and Water set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 22,700 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 23,300 LBP
- Fuel Oil: 14,100 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 14,100 LBP
