Protesters from the civil society groups were beaten by members of the parliament’s guards, after they threw eggs and tomatoes at convoys leaving the parliament.
In turn, the Parliament’s police command explained that the protesters threw stones, eggs and tomatoes at the vehicles of the deputies and attempting to cross the security checkpoint to attack bodyguards and forcibly take their weapons. Consequently, the parliament’s guards were forced to interfere.
