Berri: New vote law is the best one that could be reached
Speaker Nabih Berri said on Wednesday that the new vote law is the best one that could be reached, dubbing it as a result of the consensus after a long period of discussions and deliberations.
Berri’s comments were made during his weekly meeting with MPs in Ain el-Tineh whereby he reiterated the importance of re-activating the work of the state’s institutions.
He also stressed the need to work on the social and economic issues that touch the lives of the Lebanese people.
