Finance Minister Ali Hassan Khalil expressed optimism over the passing of the pay scale during the upcoming cabinet session scheduled to be held on Tuesday, noting that they will reconsider all items to reassure the retired employees without faulting the pay scale.
Following a meeting at the Finance Ministry in the presence of Minister Jamal al-Jarrah and deputies Ibrahim Kanaan, Ali Fayad, George Adwan and Akram Chehayeb, Hassan Khalil noted that the conferees stressed their keenness to pass the budget as soon as possible.
