Maliki confirms Lebanese capable of foiling plan to sow discord

Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki told his Lebanese counterpart, Najib Mikati, via a letter sent on Saturday, that he has confidence in the Lebanese people’s ability to foil plans to create discord and conflicts.
The Iraqi prime minister sent a letter to his Lebanese counterpart in which he tackled the current regional events and the challenges facing Lebanon, al-Maliki’s media office reported.

According to the report, Maliki also extended his condolences over the recent death of several Lebanese visitors in Iraq as he also called Lebanese Speaker Nabih Berri.
