Future Bloc: Army is sole legitimate institution that has right to possess, use weapons

The Future bloc stressed on Tuesday on the importance of the Lebanese Armed Forces and its role in carrying out its national role in defending and protecting the country in the face of Israeli occupation and all forms of terrorism.

The bloc's comments were made during its weekly meeting at the Bayt al-Wasat presided by the bloc’s head Fouad Siniora.

The bloc also stressed that the sole legitimate military institution enjoying the exclusive right to possess and use weapons to defend the Lebanese is the Lebanese army alongside all other legitimate security apparatuses.
