Local, Arab and international leaders condemn Houla massacre
Head of the Future Parliamentary bloc Fouad Siniora condemned on Sunday the massacre committed by the Syrian security forces in the Syrian town of Houla, killing over 92 people including 32 children. “It is now time for the world to wake up and to stop these persistent daily slaughters against the unarmed Syrian people”, he said.

For his part, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki condemned the massacre on Sunday, calling for a complete turnaround in Syria.

In a statement issued by his press office, Maliki stressed the necessity to put an end to violence and launch a responsible dialogue.

French President Francois Hollande’s Socialist Party called on the international community to put an end to massacres in Syria.
