Suleiman calls for dialogue on June 11th
President Michel Suleiman signed the letters addressed to the different fronts of the dialogue committee, calling on them to convene on June 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Baabda Palace.    

The letters highlight the internal and regional circumstances that brought about the need for engaging in dialogue and underline the 3 main tabled topics which are: First, the Resistance arms as well as means to leverage them within the framework of an agreed-upon national defense strategy; second, the arms within and outside cities; third and finally, the implementation of the decisions taken during previous dialogue session, mainly the withdrawal of Palestinian arms outside the refugee camps and organizing those used internally.
     
Sleiman met with former deputy prime minister and former minister Elias el-Murr at Baabda’s Presidential Palace on Monday. Discussions featured high on the latest developments and the national dialogue.
