Prime Minister Saad Hariri expressed Thursday his pride over the accomplishment of the Lebanese army, noting that the solution to the refugee’s crisis in Lebanon is their safe return to Syria.
Following his meeting with his French counterpart Edouard Philipe in Paris, Hariri confirmed that the Lebanese people are not divided, adding that “some people are trying to exploit the victory, but it is the government, the people and the Lebanese army who triumphed. “
Hariri had started his meetings in the French capital earlier in the day with a meeting at his residence in Paris with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in the presence of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Paris Ghadi Khoury, as well as Nader Hariri and the counselors Basil Yard and Nadim al-Monla.
During the encounter, parties discussed the latest updates and situations in Lebanon as well as the bilateral relations.
