66 nurses work illegally at hospitals in Lebanon

The team of the Ministry of Health intensified their inspection on the working staff at the hospitals where 66 nurses and 9 technicians who do not hold the Lebanese citizenship were found to be working illegally.

This measure comes within the framework of imposing the implementation of the laws in force in Lebanon.

Consequently, the Ministry of Health issued warnings to 13 hospitals.

In this context, the media office of the Minister of Public Health Ghassan Hasbany released a statement whereby the Ministry reiterated its warning to hospitals and health centers from hiring those who do not have permission to practice the profession, stressing that those who violate the law won’t be tolerated.
