REPORT: State Security head says embassies security alerts are not new
State Security head Major General Tony Saliba said on Tuesday that 65 cases of terrorists’ arrests took place since he took office.

As for the information that prompted foreign embassies to issue security alerts last week, he said that they are “not new,” adding that Lebanese security apparatuses “had prior knowledge of potential security breaches.”

He concluded by saying that there is a continuous communication between Lebanese officials and foreign embassies in Lebanon.
