Speaker Nabih Berri commented on the decision of the Constitutional Council, saying that “the decision of the judiciary is respected, even if it serves the interest of the banks.”
“Now we have to look into the sources of complaints,” he added.
The Constitutional Council unanimously decided earlier on Friday to repeal the new tax hike law.
