Suleiman, Annan meet at Baabda Palace
President Michel Suleiman held a meeting on Thursday with UN envoy Kofi Annan, in the presence of members of the Lebanese and UN delegations.

The UN-Arab League envoy to Syria Kofi Annan arrived on Thursday afternoon in Beirut international airport.          

The UN special coordinator for Lebanon, Derek Plumbly, the Director of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Mira Daher, representing Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour who is currently in Istanbul and the Director of the UN Information Center in Beirut, Bahaa ElKoussy, welcomed Annan at the airport.           

Annan left the airport without giving a statement.
