Guidanian launches new tourism development strategy from Paris

Tourism Minister Avedis Guidanian launched during his visit to France the new tourism strategy for development that aims at attracting tourists from around the world.

Guidanian announced the establishment of an office to introduce tourism activities in Lebanon, mainly for business tourism and conferences.

"Visit Lebanon" will be responsible for implementing the tourism strategy which is based on four main axes:

- Promoting Lebanon as a destination by foreign tour operators.

- Making Lebanon a conference and business center at the regional and international levels, in cooperation with regional and international tourism companies.

- Encouraging Lebanese expatriates to visit Lebanon.

- Preparing digital tools to keep up with this tourism development with a focus on building channels of cooperation between various tourism institutions. Providing websites dedicated to recreational and commercial tourism.
