REPORT: Patriarch Rai says Lebanon should be dissociated away from regional conflicts

Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai said on Sunday that the town of Zahle is considered an example for diversity that the country’s political system is based on.

Rai’s comments were made during his Sunday’s sermon at the Saint Maroun Cathedral in Ksara, Zahle whereby he stressed the need to dissociate Lebanon away from regional conflicts.

He concluded by saying that only humanitarian issues should be focused on currently.
