“Abou Ajineh” charged with belonging to IS and kidnapping Lebanese citizens

State Commissioner to the Military Court Judge Saqr Saqr charged Ali al-Hujeiry, also known as “Abou Ajineh,” with belonging to the Islamic State and facilitating the access of the gunmen to participate in the fight against the Lebanese army in Arsal in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

 

The charges also include providing weapons and ammunition to the gunmen and holding meeting with leaders of terrorist groups, as well as kidnapping Lebanese citizens foreigners and handing them over the terrorists, to release them later in exchange of a ransom.
