Geagea from Australia: Rouhani’s statements are unacceptable

Lebanese Forces party leader Samir Geagea criticized on Wednesday the latest statements made by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

Geagea’s comments were made from Australia whereby he said that Rouhani’s statements are “unacceptable and go against diplomatic customs and rules.”

"Even if we have remained silent over certain acts, such as Hezbollah's fighting in neighboring Syria or its attack on Arab countries in order to preserve the country’s stability, this does not mean we accept to receive orders from Iran, the United States or any other country in the world," Geagea stressed.

On another note, Geagea said that “it is high time for the return of the Syrian refugees to Syria” after 7 years, adding that some regions in Syria are now safe.
