Al-Akhbar’s Afif Diab comes under attack
A group of people close to Ziad al-Homsi, including his brothers in law, lashed out at Al-akhbar’s journalist, Afif Diab, after the latter wrote an article titled “To Ziad al-Homsi... You are a traitor.”   

Diab headed for the Shtoura police station to file a complaint. However, the police officers rejected his complaint, saying that his injuries are minor and do not require filing a complaint.   

Following his release from prison, al-Homsi met with all those to whom he had caused harm, extending his apologies.
