MP Gemayel meets Jordanian King

Jordanian King Abdullah II met on Monday with the Kataeb party head MP Sami Gemayel at the al- Husseiniya Palace of in Amman.

During the meeting, the Jordanian King asserted that his country stands besides Lebanon in its efforts to overcome crisis and to preserve its unity, stability and security.

For his part, Gemayel expressed appreciation to Jordan's stances that support the unity, stability and prosperity of Lebanon and "its continuous efforts to achieve security and stability in the region."

He also thanked Jordan for its assistance to the Lebanese Army, stressing the need to strengthen bilateral relations.

Gemayel arrived to Jordan on Sunday as part of the party’s scheduled foreign tour.
