Kataeb party chief, MP Samy Gemayel voiced concerns over not only giving up the state’s sovereignty, but also defending every act done by some parties inside and outside Lebanon, noting that this is a dangerous situation and Lebanon could pay the price of it in the future.
Following his meeting with Patriarch Beshara Boutros Rai in Bkerke, Gemayel said that the main concern for some is not maintaining the country’s sovereignty and neutrality but managing “the train of deals.”
“We want real and complete neutrality, not lies,” he added, hoping that the Lebanese people will see clearly to make the right choices in the upcoming elections.
