Supreme Islamic Shiite Council: Trump’s decision a flagrant violation to Intl resolutions

The Supreme Islamic Shiite Council said on Friday that the decision of US President Donald Trump of announcing Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel is a new Balfour Declaration.

“It is a flagrant aggression against our nation and is a violation to International resolutions,” Sheikh Ali al-Khatib said reading a statement on behalf of the Council.

He also called on the Arab and Islamic states to act to face such an aggression.
