Reforming the telecom sector in Lebanon is one of the conditions set on an international level in order for Lebanon to receive the financial and economic assistance in the conferences held for the country.
In this regard, the Lebanese parliament passed the telecom law number 431 in 2002, which guarantees a restructuring and reform for the sector, but it has not yet been implemented even after 15 years.
