Zahra to LBCI: We are in agreement on stance over dialogue

MP Antoine Zahra told Nharkom Saeed on Friday that there is no disagreement between the Lebanese forces and March 14 on the stance over the dialogue at the current stage, noting that the Lebanese Forces will not participate in the dialogue.

In a phone call, Zahra explained that the decision not to participate in the dialogue was based on the LF’s refusal to give the people “false hopes” and to cover corruption. Zahra added that the problem lies in the existence of “a mini-state beyond the State, and a government that is submissive to the Syrian regime”, he added.

However, Zahra stressed that the LF will not hinder the dialogue, and will welcome any positive result or decision regarding the issue of “illegal weapons”.
