Deputies quoted Speaker Nabih Berri as saying that, regarding the decree pertaining to the officers, “he is content with what he said Tuesday,” noting that there are many things related to this issue that he does not want to discuss.
On another note, Berri said during Wednesday’s deputies gathering that the most important thing is the events taking place in Occupied Palestine, stressing the need to continue supporting the continuous Intifida of the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupation.
