Suleiman heads preparatory meetings for dialogue, receives March 14 memorandum

President Michel Suleiman received a memorandum from March 14 on the call for a national dialogue on Monday the Presidential Palace in Baabda and on the participation of representatives of the coalition.

Suleiman had met with former President Amine Gemayel and they both discussed the current political developments and the national dialogue.

In light of preparations for Monday’s session, the president headed preparatory meetings during which the final touches were put on the dialogue session and conclusions were drawn from the suggestions and stances resulting from previous sessions.

The president met with Yamina Benguigu, France's state minister in charge of Expatriates and Francophone issues and they discussed bilateral relations and preparations underway for the next Francophone Summit.
