Speaker Nabih Berri stressed that the cabinet is still standing, but is undergoing some obstruction due to the existent political tension.
MPs quoted Berri as saying during Wednesday’s deputies gathering, that he has enough audacity and responsibility to apologize from the Lebanese people for all damages they sustained on the ground, stressing that neither he, nor any other official from Amal movement asked the supporters to take to the streets.
On the Syrian file, Berri said that the visit paid by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Russia is very dangerous and matches the Turkish attack on Syria, which calls for prudence.
