REPORT: Preparatory meetings for Rome II conference held at Grand Serail

Three preparatory meetings for the Rome II conference were held on Monday at the Grand Serail.

The conferences were attended by Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq, Minister of Defense Yaacoub Sarraf, several experts and ambassadors of the concerned countries.

This as the Italian ambassador to Lebanon declared that the Rome II conference will take place on March 15.

For his part, Minister Machnouq said that the conference gives Lebanon a “historical chance” to receive all its needs in order "to provide a safe future, not for Lebanon only but for the entire world.”
