On Thursday February 15, 2018, the fuel prices in Lebanon registered a decrease, where the price of 95 octane gasoline dropped 100 LBP, while that of 98 octane gasoline remained unchanged and that of fuel oil and diesel oil dropped 200 LBP.
The table issued by Ministry of Energy and Water set the prices of hydrocarbon derivatives as follows:
- Gasoline 95 octane: 26,300 LBP
- Gasoline 98 octane: 27,000 LBP
- Diesel Oil: 18,100 LBP
- Fuel Oil: 18,200 LBP
