REPORT: Environment Minister explains sustainable waste management policy

Environment Minister Tareq al-Khatib explained on Friday the sustainable waste management policy to head of municipalities, governors and MPs from Beirut and Mount Lebanon.

This policy revolves around the decentralization which enables municipalities to deal with their own waste. However, some municipalities cannot perform such tasks.
