The attorney of Ziad Itani, Rami Itani declared that “the release of Ziad will happen very soon,” stressing that he had always believed in his innocence since the beginning.
He added that they are waiting for the decision of the investigative judge, refusing to delve into any legal details concerning the primary investigations with Ziad and the recordings at the Directorate General of State Security.
The Association of the Itani family held a press conference, whereby they thanked Prime Minister Saad Hariri, Interior Minister Nouhad al-Machnouq and the concerned judiciary for the efforts he deployed to uncover the conspiracy fabricated against Ziad Itani.
