Public Prosecutor Samir Hammoud said Wednesday that he had concluded the preliminary investigations conducted by the Information Division under his supervision into the Itani - al-Hajj case, after he decided to detain two persons, pending investigation, and granted a third person release on their own recognizance.
In a telephone conversation with the state-run National News Agency, Hammoud added that the file was then referred to the government commissioner to the military court, according to the validity of the legal requirement for criminal prosecution.
