Eleven prior to the deadline for the formation of electoral lists, only two lists have been completed in the northern city of Tripoli.
The completed lists include the one of Najib Mikati, joined by Mohammad Nadim al-Jisr, Toufic Sultan, Tashid al-Mokaddem, Mervat al-Hawz, Jean Obeid, Nicholas al-Nahas and Ali Darwish for Tripoli, Mohammad al-Fadel and Jihad al-Youssef for Donnieh and Kazem al-Kheir for Minieh.
The other list is the one of the Future Movement, nominating Mohammad Kabbara, Samir al-Jisr, Walid Sawahili, Chadi Nachabi, Dima Jamali, George Bkassine, Nehme Mahfoud and Leila Chahoud for Tripoli, Sami Ahmad Fatfat and Qassem Abdel Aziz for Donnieh and Osman Alameddine for Minieh.
