Qassem: Resistance and weapons are inseparable

Hezbollah's deputy leader Sheikh Naim Qassem said on Tuesday that the Resistance and weapons are “inseparable”, adding that Lebanon without weapons would be weak; “it would even be under the Israeli umbrella and home to new settlements”.

During the inauguration of a conference entitled “Palestine… the awakening of nations”, Qassem stressed that he is open to discuss the defense strategy, “provided that this strategy is carefully studied since the Resistance’s weapons have an important role to play and are integrated in Lebanon’s needs”.

Qassem said that the Resistance’s arms are radiant and sacred, adding that the militias’ weapons that were used for wrong purposes shook the country’s stability and civil peace.
