For the first time, the civil society in Lebanon appears in electoral lists, either alone or in alliance with opposition parties or independent figures, taking advantage of the proportional system.
The civil society has lists in all 15 electoral districts.
The most prominent list for the civil society in Beirut’s 1st district and it is the one with the higher chances of winning.
Electoral experts said that the civil society has also chances of securing seats in the district of Chouf –Aley.
