The cabinet session ended on Thursday, after convening at Baabda presidential palace, under the chairmanship of President Michel Aoun and in the presence of Prime Minister Saad Hariri and the ministers.
Social Affairs Minister Pierre Bou Assi, who read the decisions, declared that the cabinet will continue discussions over the electricity file during next week’s session.
He also stressed that there is a Lebanese consensus over the need to refuse and denounce any violation to the Lebanese sovereignty and airspace, emphasizing that Lebanon is ready for all scenarios.
“We are committed to the disassociation policy and we will not disassociate ourselves from the Israel’s violation to our airspace,” he said.
