Interior Ministry requests summoning of Joan Hbeish

Minister of Interior Nouhad Machnouq requested on Wednesday from Governor of Mount Lebanon Judge Mohammad Makawi to summon head of the Federation of Municipalities of Keserwan-Ftouh Joan Hbeish.

The summon comes on the background of Hbeish offering the key to the city of Keserwan to candidate Houssein Zouaiter in order to reveal the circumstances behind the issue.

The ministry added that “sectarian tensions” have nothing to do with the issue.
