The Constitutional Council suspended Thursday the execution of Article 49 of the State Budget and scheduled a new session to be held on May 8.
A member of the Constitutional Council explained that the budget has a singularity and sometimes the legislative authority passes draft laws within the budget, noting that the article 49 will be reviewed to see to what extent it blends with the constitution.
In a statement to LBCI, he noted that granting citizenship is connected to blood relation, not land relation, stressing that the council will reveal whether ownership will turn into an indirect settlement.
